  1. The Data We Collect About You

 

Personal data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person.

When you use this Website, we may collect the following types of personal data on you:

  • Contact Data includes email address, telephone number and physical address. In the case of artists that sell their art through our Website (“Artists”), this can also include links to social media profiles.
  • Usage Data includes information about how you use our Website (such as, when you entered the Website and how long you stayed in the Website or on a specific page, and websites from which you entered our Website or that you will visit when you leave our website).
  • Technical Data includes information on your internet connection (such as your IP address and internet service provider name), on the device and software that you are using to access the Website (e.g., your web browser type, mobile device type, and computer operating system).
  • Location Data includes information on your location provided through location enabled services such as WiFi and GPS.
  • Image Data includes images of people, such as a profile photo.
  • Payment Data includes data on means of payment that you use on our Website, such as your credit card, your billing contact name and address and, in the case of Artists, also the means through which you wish to receive payments, such as your PayPal account details.

Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.     Your California Privacy Rights under CCPA

     

    Right to Know and Data Portability 

    You have the right to request certain information regarding our collection and use of personal data, and disclosure of personal data to third parties.

     

    Right to Delete 

    You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal data that we collected from you and retained. We may deny your deletion request in certain defined cases, for example, if retaining the data is necessary for us or our service providers to perform our contract with you, detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, debug products, exercise free speech, engage in research, enable internal uses or comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

     

    Additionally, if you are a California resident under the age of eighteen (18) and a registered user of the Services, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to remove content or personal data you have publicly posted. If you wish to remove such content or personal data and you specify which content or personal data you wish to be removed, we will do so in accordance with applicable law.  Please be aware that after removal you may not be able to restore removed content or personal data. In addition, such removal does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or personal data you have posted, and there may be circumstances in which the law does not require us to enable removal of content.

     

    Our California Do Not Track Notice

    Some browsers transmit "do-not-track" signals to websites. Because of differences in how browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them. We currently do not take action in response to these signals.
